Butter London Cheeky Cream blush in pistol pink review

Whenever I apply any of Butter London's products (nail polish, lip balm..etc), I get a happy-go-lucky feeling. It's like going to candy land with all of their color variation and polished packaging.

This is the first time I try out the Cheeky cream blush from Butter London, I'm more of a powder blush gal coz I just hate that wet-sticky feeling on my complexion. This cream blush is neither- once applied it dries instantly. Here's what butter LONDON has to say about the CHEEKY Cream Blush:

This ultra silky, sheer formula delivers a burst of cheek colour by way of these perfectly portable compacts. The buildable shades can be dabbed onto the cheeks and blended seamlessly for a subtle look or layered for a look that’s a bit more fierce.
“This cream blush is great as a multi-use product,” says Katie Hughes, Global Colour Ambassador. “The creamy, smooth formula can be used on lips, too, for when you’re looking to create a flawlessly matched look, which I’m a huge fan of. Using the middle and ring fingers on each hand to extract the colour, rub your fingers together to evenly distribute the colour and then apply simultaneously to both cheeks so you get even symmetry with the colour.”
Features & Benefits:
• Long lasting with natural emollients
• Creamy formula with high colour payoff
• Rich in Mango Seed Butter for luminosity
• Free of parabens and phthalates

Pistol Pink is a bright fuchsia pink cream blush with no shimmer. The color is quite intense and very pigmented. It can be built up to the color you see in the pan. The pigmentation is gorgeous and totally blendable and buildable, hence, I applied it with my fingers to control the amount of color. I only applied two dots on my cheeks and Wooah! See below in the swatches what I mean but pigmentation! Also, I found it much easier to apply with my fingers than with a stippling brush.

There's nothing subtle about a color like Pistol Pink and if you aren't familiar with using cream blushes, it can be a little overwhelming at first. Just be careful to use little bit at first , and then build up bit by bit till you reach the opacity you are comfortable with. With cream blush you have to start off with few and build it up rather than apply a whole lot of it and then suffer by finding mysterious ways of taking it down!

Butter London Cheek Cream Blush is the fact they wear very long which is a plus for me since cream blush typically fades on me very quickly, but this formula wears for a solid six hours.
