Rimmel colour rush intense colour balm review in Keep Mauving

Like all brands in sense of the hype around the chubby lipsticks/tinted balms, Rimmel releases their own version of it. Once again, Rimmel has not failed their quality or me with this. This Chubby lipstick has been my ultimate companion for two weeks now.

I have to admit, I'm not a lipstick person. I would rather apply a chapstick or a lipbalm and leave the makeup application for the eyes and cheeks. But this, this is now a holy grail for me.

The yummy vanilla scent is very tempting, the texture of the balm very soft and buildable, the packaging is the same. However, and unlike the other chubby sticks, this on is more of a lipstick than a gloss. It also stains the lips, although it isn't marketed as a stain, merely as 'long-lasting'.

While the balm aspect of the product doesn't last that long on the lips, yet it is very hydrating.

I'm not sure if these will be an instant sell-out like the Revlon lip butters, but I personally prefer these to the Revlon Lip Butters.

The Rimmel color balm comes in seven shades, and I would personally wear every single one of these colors and I think they've also managed to choose flattering colors for most skins tones.

The Shade I am reviewing now is Keep Mauving: a subtle warm plum/mauve with brown undertones.

This colour balm is another hit for Rimmel. I'm very impressed. A total recommendation.
