NARS ON THE RED CARPET AT THE 2014 MET BALL

I got to know from NARS which celebrities has their MUA's worked on and which products they have used on them to achieve the dazzling look on the MET Gala red carpet.

NARS worked with celebrity makeup artist Elaine Offers to create the beauty look for Blake Lively at the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala celebrating the unveiling of its newest exhibit, Charles James: Beyond Fashion.
Beauty Inspiration: “This look is very classic but very glamorous. We wanted to nod to Charles James’ aesthetic by creating a look reminiscent of vintage Hollywood but modernize it with a muted red lip.”

NARS also, worked with celebrity makeup artist Mai Quynh to create the beauty look for Jessica Paré at the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala celebrating the unveiling of its newest exhibit, Charles James: Beyond Fashion. Please see below for more details and the products used to achieve this look.
Beauty Inspiration: “I wanted this look to be very glamorous but not too traditional which is why we opted for a bright lip; it's the first time we've gone bold for the red carpet!. To keep the look fresh and modern I decided to forego eyeliner and instead create a wash of metallic on the eyes.”

NARS Lead Makeup Stylist Jenny Smith created the beauty look for Karen Elson at the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala celebrating the unveiling of its newest exhibit, Charles James: Beyond Fashion. Please see below for more details and the products used to achieve this look.
Beauty Inspiration: "This is timeless beauty and reflects the way women of the 1950's used small details in their application for spectacular enhancement of their features. We opted for a reddish-orange lip and created the tiniest flick of eyeliner for subtle definition."

NARS worked with celebrity makeup artist Benjamin Puckey to create the beauty look for Solange Knowles at the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala celebrating the unveiling of its newest exhibit, Charles James: Beyond Fashion. Please see below for more details and the products used to achieve this look.

Beauty Inspiration: After looking at her dress, we decided that the focus should be her eyes. We imagined this dark and smokey bronzed look with a lot of mascara. Glowing cheeks and a nude lip really helped to intensify the dramatic effect.
