Real Techniques Expert Face

Its quite undeniable by now that Real Techniques are one of the best makeup brushes brands amongst few. I have tried several, but not many, makeup brushes, but by far, only M.A.C and The Body Shop and Real Techniques brushes are the ones I fell for.

I got several makeup brushes by Real Techniques. The one I am reviewing today is the expert face brush which I got for almost $8.99 from Ulta.com , pretty affordable, huh?

This brush is miraculous. I use it for applying several techniques, and products for that matter. I use it for Buffing and blending Foundation purposes, it is designed for applying and blending cream or liquid foundation. The brush head is 25mm in length, 30mm in width, and 20mm in thickness.

The brush had a total length of 6 inches/15.5 centimeters. The brush is soft, dense, and firm. The edge is slightly rounded, but the most noticeable characteristic about the brush is just how dense it is. It is even denser than the Buffing Brush they have.

The rounded, slightly tapered edge makes it easy to buff and blend out any streaks, and the synthetic bristles of this brush means it works better with cream and liquid products and is easier to clean. You can not blend foundation with it, but also cream blushes too (again because of its tapered edges).

I first used it to apply My Bourjois BB cream, and it blended miraculously, and now, I use it to apply ally my liquid and cream foundations from Make Up For Ever HD foundation, to Bourjois Happy light foundation. I also us it to blend all blush, bronzer and highlighter together after application to give a natural, seemless effect without any streaks. Its my life savior that I can no longer live without.

Got any foundations by Real Techniques? Which one you like best?
