Butter London Liquid Lipstick review

Butter London, the nail polish masters, has recently launches their makeup line, from lipsticks to eyeliners and mascaras. I got two shades to review: Trout Pout and Alcopop. They might seem identical to you in their packaging but actually they are not at all.

On the left: Alcopop, On the right: Trout pout

Trout Pout is actually my favorite. It is a peach shade with pink undertones, which suits any look and an everyday one indeed. Alcopop is a bright pink shade with blue undertones, which is not a favorite shade of mine. But other than that, this lipstick is extreeeeeeeeeemly pigmented, has a thick consistency, non sticky, very moisturizing, and lasted 5 hours, with minimal fading . The applicator is a doe foot which I didn't mind, I just prefer the brush which gives more precision.

It also smells like buttercup, which is a plus for me. The only downside to it costs $18, which is quite expensive. But since this is pigmented, and you only need a very small amount to apply, I believe it will last a lot. This has become , by far, my lipstick holy grail.
